Nerino Rossin founds in Ora/South Tyrol the company Rossin with the aim to produce different kinds of upholstered-furniture like sofa-beds and box-spring mattresses.

The first armchair diana is developed

Modular sofas are added in the product range

First results abroad with the nearby countries Austria and Switzerland

1991

Mario Rossin takes over the management of the company

The development of a design collection with an international approach

First international fair – Orgatec in Cologne

The CEO Klaus Pomella takes over through a MBO (Management Buy-out) the brand and the design collection

First presence in Middle East countries with the participation at Hotelshow Dubai

Move to the new headquarters in Egna-Laghetti

Models coco and n@t win the Red Dot Design Award

2013

The new model luc wins a total of 4 design awards, the very famous Good Design Award in Chicago and 2 Red Dots for the luc chair and lounge chair and the German Design Award Special Mention

The company enlarges its showroom at the head-quarters in Egna-Laghetti to 1.000 m²

2014

Rossin wins the Interior Innovation Award for the new models cleo and sofie

2018

Model monte design Christian Werner wins both the Good Design Award 2017 and the IF Design Award

2020

Due to the pandemic, rossin implements the first online showroom. Customers can get a digital impression of the exhibition and the products.

The rocking stool stampede by Canadian designer Charles Godbout - Topo Design Inc. wins the prestigious Canadian Grands Prix du Design in the category Contract Furniture

2021

The new fabric collection is available. It offers high-quality and noble materials with original textile structures, fine wool, glamorous velvet, quilted fabrics and, last but not least, fine, classic leather.

rossin presents brandface: distictive and highly recognisable!

2022

The elba, created by the design studio JOI-Design based in Hamburg (Germany), receives the BigSEE Award 2022.

After a few years of interruption, rossin is represented with a glamorous stand at the 60th edition of the Milan furniture fair Salone del Mobile. cleo mini, samurai and signa by designer duo Archirivolto are theatrically staged.

rossin strengthens its sales team. rossin north america is launched.

2023

elba is awarded by the German Design Award 2023 - Special mention. The chaise longue impressed the jury with its soft lines, which convey a sense of security and lightness despite its basic geometric shape.

After the pandemic, travelling becomes easier again. Klaus Pomella visits a number of retailers in the USA and travels to Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

2024

„60 years of design culture“ is the slogan for the company's anniversary. The foundation stone for a new headquarter is laid to mark this occasion.

rossin decides against the Salone del Mobile in favour of a permanent showroom in the Design District in Milan. The exhibition primarily serves international customers who want to see the quality and uniqueness of rossin's upholstered furniture.
