Both are designers and architects. After graduating in Japan, Shinobu from Tama Art University in Tokyo, and Setsu from Tsukuba University, they moved to Milan where they have been working as consultants for important companies, like De Padova, Edra, Fiam Italia, Sony CP Laboratories, Sharp, Canon, Mitsubishi, TDK, Hitachi, ixc, Toyo kitchen & living, Guzzini, Nava, Richard Ginori and Tiffany.
Their work has been published and exhibited throughout Europe and Japan and has received several awards. Some pieces are today part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Munich. Shinobu works also as a graphic designer and is involved in marketing activities, in which she has gained experience during her time at Sony Creative Products Inc. Setsu is also a Visiting Lecturer in Milan at the Domus Academy and at the Istituto Europeo di Design, and in Tokyo at the Tama Art University.
